Psalm 8: 1
2 Children and infants sing your praises. You have given them this song to silence all your enemies.

3 Lord, I look at the sky that you have made with your own hands. When I see the moon and stars created by Thee, I am amazed;

4 Why are people so important to you? Why do you remember them? Why are people so important to you? Why do you pay attention to them?
Psalm 8: 4
5 But people are important to you. You have made people a little less than gods. You have crowned them with glory and honor.
Psalm 8: 5
6 You gave people authority over everything you made. You put everything under their control.
Psalm 8: 6
7 The people rule over the sheep, the animals, and all the animals in the forest.
Psalm 8: 7
8 They rule over the birds of the sky, and over the fish that swim in the sea.

9 Thy name, O LORD our God, is more wonderful in all the earth.

Matthew Chapter 8:1-34
Jesus healed a leprosy patient
1 And when he was come down from the mountain, great multitudes followed him.
Matthew 8: 1
2 And there came a leper to him, and worshiped him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean.
Matthew 8: 2
3 And he stretched forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will; be thou made clean. And at the same time the leper's leprosy went away.
Matthew 8: 3
4 And Jesus said unto him, Go thy way, and tell no man what is done: but go thy way, shew thyself to thy priest, and according to the commandment of Moses, this is a testimony to the people.

Trust of a centurion
5 And when Jesus was come into Capernaum, the centurion brought him a petition,

6 “Lord, my servant is sick in bed with a paralyzed and in pain.”
Matthew 8: 6
7 And he said unto the centurion, I will come and heal him.
Matthew 8: 7
8 But the centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but if thou speakest, my servant shall be healed.
Matthew 8: 8
9 For I am a man under authority, having soldiers under me: and if I say unto any man, Go, he goeth; and when I say unto another, Come, he goeth; When I tell my servant to do this, he does it. ”

10 And when Jesus heard it, he marveled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, This man has faith more than any man of Israel.
Matthew 8:10
11 I tell you that many will come from the east and from the west. They will sit and eat with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven.

12 But those who should have the kingdom will be thrown out. They will be thrown out into the darkness, and people will cry out and grind their teeth in pain. ”

13 Then said Jesus unto the centurion, Go thy way; he shall be healed as thou hast believed. And his servant was healed in that hour.

Jesus healed Many Patients
14 When Jesus came to Peter's house, he saw his mother-in-law lying with a fever.

15 And he touched her hand, and the fever left her: and she arose, and ministered unto them.

16 And when even was come, many that were possessed with the devil were brought unto him: and with his words he cast out many devils, and healed all that were sick.

17 He did this to fulfill the words of the prophet Isaiah: “He himself bore our sicknesses and took away our diseases.”

The value of being a disciple of jesus
18 When Jesus saw the crowds around him, he told his disciples to go across the lake.

19 Then one of the teachers of the law came to Jesus and said, "Teacher, wherever you go, I will follow you."

20 And Jesus said unto him, The foxes have holes, and the birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head.

21 And another of his disciples said unto him, Lord, suffer me first to go and bury my father, and I will follow thee.

22 But Jesus said to him, "Follow me, and let the dead bury their own dead."

Soothe the storm
23 And when he was come into the ship, his disciples followed him.
Matthew 8:23
24 And there arose a great tempest in the sea, insomuch that the ship was covered with the waves. But Jesus was sleeping.

25 The disciples came to him and woke him up. They said to him, "Lord, save us! We are drowning."
Matthew 8:25
26 And he said unto them, Why are ye so fearful? You don't have complete faith. Then he got up and struck the wind and the waves. Then there was a sudden calm.

27 And the men marveled, saying, What manner of man is this, that even the winds and the waves obey him!

Heal humans with evil spirits
28 And when he was come to the other side of the sea into the country of the Gadarenes, there came unto him two possessed with devils, coming out of the tombs, exceeding fierce, so that no man should pass by that way.

29 The two men shouted at him, “Son of God! What do you have to do with us? Have you come here to hurt us before the appointed time? ”

30 Not far from them, there was a large herd of pigs grazing.
Matthew 8:30
31 And the devils besought him, saying, If thou cast us out, suffer us to go away into the herd of swine.
Matthew 8:31
32 And he said unto them, Go. And the devil came out, and entered into the swine. And the herd of swine fled from the mountain, and fell into the lake, and were drowned.
Matthew 8:32
33 Then the keepers of the flock of pigs ran into the city. He described what happened to those who possessed pigs and demons.

34 Then the whole town came to meet Jesus and begged him to leave their territory.

परमेश्वर की महिमा तथा मनुष्य का गौरव
1 तेरा नाम, हे भगवान हमारे भगवान, सभी पृथ्वी में अधिक अद्भुत है। स्वर्ग में हर जगह आपके नाम की प्रशंसा की जाती है।
भजन 8:1
2 बच्चे और शिशु आपकी तारीफ करते हैं। आपने अपने सभी दुश्मनों को चुप कराने के लिए उन्हें यह गीत दिया है।
भजन 8:2
3 हे प्रभु, मैं उस आकाश को देखता हूं जिसे तुमने अपने हाथों से बनाया है। जब मैं थेरे द्वारा निर्मित चंद्रमा और सितारों को देखता हूं, तो मैं चकित हो जाता हूं;
भजन 8:3
4 लोग आपके लिए इतने महत्वपूर्ण क्यों हैं? आप उन्हें क्यों याद करते हैं? लोग आपके लिए इतने महत्वपूर्ण क्यों हैं? आप उन पर ध्यान क्यों देते हैं?

5 लेकिन लोग आपके लिए महत्वपूर्ण हैं। आपने लोगों को देवताओं से थोड़ा कम बनाया है। आपने उन्हें गौरव और सम्मान दिया है।

6 आपने लोगों को आपके द्वारा की गई हर चीज पर अधिकार दिया। आपने सब कुछ उनके नियंत्रण में कर दिया।

मत्ती अध्याय 8:1-34
यीशु ने एक कुष्ठ रोगी को चंगा किया
1 और जब वह पहाड़ से नीचे आ रहा था, महान बहुरूपियों ने उसका पीछा किया।
मत्ती 8: 1
2 और उसके पास एक कोढ़ी आया, और उसकी पूजा की, और कहा, हे प्रभु, यदि तू चाहता है, तो तू मुझे शुद्ध कर सकता है।

3 और उस ने अपना हाथ आगे बढ़ाया, और उसको छूकर कहा, मैं करूंगा; तू शुद्ध हो जा। और उसी समय कोढ़ी का कोढ़ दूर हो गया।

4 और यीशु ने उस से कहा, अपने रास्ते जाओ, और किसी भी आदमी को मत बताओ कि क्या किया गया है: लेकिन अपने रास्ते जाओ, अपने पुजारी के पास जाओ, और मूसा की आज्ञा के अनुसार, यह लोगों के लिए एक गवाही है।

एक सूबेदार का विश्वास
5 और जब यीशु कफरनहूम में आया था, तब सेंचुरियन ने उसे एक याचिका दी,

7 और उसने केंद्र से कहा, मैं आकर उसे चंगा करूंगा।

8 परन्तु ने उत्तर दिया और कहा, हे प्रभु, मैं इस योग्य नहीं हूं कि तू मेरी छत के नीचे आ जाए: लेकिन यदि तू बोलता है, तो मेरा दास ठीक हो जाएगा।
मत्ती 8: 8
9 क्योंकि मैं अधिकार में एक आदमी हूँ, मेरे अधीन सैनिक हैं: और अगर मैं किसी भी आदमी से कहता हूँ, जाओ, वह चला जाता है; और जब मैं दूसरे से कहता हूं, आओ, वह चले; जब मैं अपने नौकर को ऐसा करने के लिए कहता हूं, तो वह करता है। ”
मत्ती 8: 9
10 और जब यीशु ने यह सुना, तो उसने अचंभा किया, और उनके पीछे कहा कि, मैं वास्तव में तुमसे कहता हूं, इस आदमी को इस्राएल के किसी भी व्यक्ति से अधिक विश्वास है।

11 मैं तुमसे कहता हूं कि कई लोग पूर्व से और पश्चिम से आएंगे। वे इब्राहीम, इसहाक और याकूब के साथ स्वर्ग के राज्य में बैठकर भोजन करेंगे।

12 लेकिन जिनके पास राज्य होना चाहिए उन्हें बाहर निकाल दिया जाएगा। उन्हें अंधेरे में फेंक दिया जाएगा, और लोग बाहर रोएंगे और दर्द में अपने दांत पीसेंगे। ”
मत्ती 8:12
13 तब यीशु ने केंद्र से कहा, अपने रास्ते जाओ; जैसा तू विश्वास करता है वैसा ही वह चंगा हो जाएगा। और उस घंटे में उसका नौकर चंगा हो गया।

यीशु द्वारा अनेक रोगियों को चंगा करना
14 जब यीशु पतरस के घर आया, तो उसने देखा कि उसकी सास बुखार से पड़ी है।
मत्ती 8:14
15 और वह उसके हाथ को छू गया, और बुखार ने उसे छोड़ दिया: और वह उठी, और उनके पास गई।
मत्ती 8:15
16 और जब आ भी गया, तो बहुतों को जो शैतान के साथ थे, उनके पास लाया गया: और अपने शब्दों से उसने कई शैतानों को बाहर निकाल दिया, और उन सभी को चंगा किया जो बीमार थे।
मत्ती 8:16
17 उसने भविष्यवक्ता यशायाह के शब्दों को पूरा करने के लिए ऐसा किया: "उसने खुद हमारी बीमारियों को दूर किया और हमारी बीमारियों को दूर कर दिया।"

यीशु के शिष्य बनने का मूल्य
18 जब यीशु ने अपने आस-पास भीड़ देखी, तो उसने अपने चेलों से कहा कि वे झील के उस पार जाएँ।
मत्ती 8:18
19 तब कानून का एक शिक्षक जीसस के पास आया और कहा, "शिक्षक, तुम जहां भी जाओगे, मैं तुम्हारा पीछा करूंगा।"
मत्ती 8:19
20 यीशु ने उस से कहा, लोमड़ियों में छेद हैं, और हवा के पक्षियों में घोंसले हैं; लेकिन आदमी का बेटा अपना सिर रखने के लिए नहीं है।
मत्ती 8:20
21 और उसके दूसरे चेलों ने उस से कहा, हे प्रभु, मुझे जाने के लिए पहले मेरे पिता को दफनाने के लिए तड़पना होगा, और मैं तुझे पालूंगा।
मत्ती 8:21
22 लेकिन यीशु ने उससे कहा, "मेरे पीछे आओ, और मरे हुए लोगों को अपने मृतकों को दफनाने दो।"
मत्ती 8:22
तूफान को शान्त करना
23 और जब वह जहाज में आया, तो उसके चेलों ने उसका पीछा किया।
मत्ती 8:23
24 और समुद्र में एक महान तबाही पैदा हुई, इस बात का कि जहाज लहरों से ढका हुआ था। लेकिन जीसस सो रहे थे।
मत्ती 8:24
25 चेले उसके पास आए और उसे जगाया। उन्होंने उससे कहा, "भगवान, हमें बचाओ! हम डूब रहे हैं।"
मत्ती 8:25
26 और उस ने उन से कहा, तुम इतने भयभीत क्यों हो? आपको पूर्ण विश्वास नहीं है। फिर उसने उठकर हवा और लहरों पर प्रहार किया। तभी अचानक शांत हो गया।
मत्ती 8:26
27 और लोगों ने कहा, यह किस तरह का आदमी है, कि हवाएं और लहरें भी उसे मानती हैं!
मत्ती 8:27
दुष्टात्मा से ग्रस्त मनुष्यों को चंगा करना
28 और जब वह गडरिएनों के देश में समुद्र के दूसरी ओर आ गया, तो उसके पास दो शैतान थे, जो कब्रों से बाहर निकलकर भयंकर रूप से आए, ताकि कोई आदमी उस रास्ते से न जाए।

29 दो आदमी उस पर चिल्लाए, “परमेश्वर का पुत्र! आपको हमसे क्या लेना-देना? क्या आप यहां नियत समय से पहले हमें चोट पहुंचाने आए हैं? ”
मत्ती 8:29
30 उनसे दूर नहीं, सूअर चराने का एक बड़ा झुंड था।
मत्ती 8:30
31 और शैतानों ने उससे कहा, यदि तू हमें निकालता है, तो हमें सूअर के झुंड में जाने के लिए तड़पता है।
मत्ती 8:31
32 और उस ने उन से कहा, जाओ। और शैतान बाहर आया, और सूअर में घुस गया। और सूअर का झुंड पहाड़ से भाग गया, और झील में गिर गया, और डूब गया।
मत्ती 8:32
33 तब सुअरों के झुंड के रखवाले शहर में भाग गए। उसने वर्णन किया कि उन लोगों के साथ क्या हुआ जिनके पास सूअर और राक्षस थे।

34 तब पूरा नगर यीशु से मिलने आया और उससे अपना क्षेत्र छोड़ने के लिए विनती की।
