                   Pray for justice

1 Lord, why are you so far away?  People in trouble are not able to see you.

 Psalm 10: 1

 2 Evil people who are proud make evil plans and hurt the humble.

 Psalm 10: 2

 3 The wicked boast about the things they desire, and the greedy do evil to God.  In addition, they show that they hate Jehovah.

 Psalm 10: 3

 4 Wicked people refuse to follow God, as they are very proud.  They make their own evil plans and act as if God does not exist.

 Psalm 10: 4

 5 Evil people are always talking nonsense.  They examine God's laws and his wise teachings.  God's enemies ignore his teachings.

 Psalm 10: 5

 6 They feel that nothing bad will happen to them.  "We will always be happy and there will never be any punishment for us," he says.

 7 They always curse.  They always say bad things about others.  Besides, they keep making plans for bad things.

 8 They hide themselves and do not appear in public.  They wait to catch innocent people and kill them.

 Psalm 10: 8

 9 They are like strong lions that wait for their prey.  They wait for the poor and fall into their trap.

 Psalm 10: 9

 10 They hurt the poor.  Those bad people make humanity sad.

 Psalm 10:10

 11 Therefore, helpless people are thinking, "God has forgotten us forever. He has turned away from us. He doesn't even see what happens to us."

 12 Arise, O LORD, and do;  Punish the wicked, O God, and do not forget the poor.

 Psalm 10:12

 13 Why do the wicked turn against God?  Because they think that God will not punish them.

 Psalm 10:13

 14 Surely you, Yahweh, see the cruelty and the iniquity of the wicked.  Look at these issues and do something.  Many people are waiting for your help because of trouble.  Lord, it is you who help the orphans.  So watch out for them

 15 Lord destroy the wicked.

 Psalm 10:15

 16 Remove them from your land.

 Psalm 10:16

 17 God, you have heard what those poor people want.  Listen to their prayers and fulfill their demands.

 18 Lord, protect those who have no parents and those who are persecuted.  Save the afflicted people from further trouble, so that the powerful will not be able to force them out of the land.

                न्याय के लिए प्रार्थना

1 भगवान, आप इतनी दूर क्यों हैं?  मुश्किल में पड़े लोग आपको देख नहीं पा रहे हैं।

 4 दुष्ट लोग परमेश्वर का अनुसरण करने से इनकार करते हैं, क्योंकि वे बहुत गर्व करते हैं।  वे अपनी बुरी योजनाएँ बनाते हैं और ऐसे कार्य करते हैं मानो ईश्वर का अस्तित्व ही नहीं है।

 5 दुष्ट लोग हमेशा बकवास कर रहे हैं।  वे परमेश्वर के नियमों और उसकी बुद्धिमान शिक्षाओं की जाँच करते हैं।  परमेश्वर के दुश्मन उसकी शिक्षाओं को नज़रअंदाज़ करते हैं।

 6 उन्हें लगता है कि उनके साथ कुछ बुरा नहीं होगा।  "हम हमेशा खुश रहेंगे और हमारे लिए कोई सजा नहीं होगी," वे कहते हैं।

 7 वे हमेशा अभिशाप देते हैं।  वे हमेशा दूसरों के बारे में बुरी बातें कहते हैं।  इसके अलावा, वे बुरी चीजों के लिए योजना बनाते रहते हैं।

 11 इसलिए, असहाय लोग सोच रहे हैं, "भगवान हमें हमेशा के लिए भूल गए हैं। वह हमसे दूर हो गए हैं। वह यह भी नहीं देखते कि हमारे साथ क्या होता है।"

 12 हे यहोवा, उठ, और कर;  दुष्टों को दंड दो, हे भगवान, और गरीबों को मत भूलना।

 13 दुष्ट परमेश्वर के खिलाफ क्यों होते हैं?  क्योंकि उन्हें लगता है कि भगवान उन्हें सजा नहीं देंगे।

 18 हे प्रभु, उन लोगों की रक्षा करो जिनके कोई माता-पिता नहीं हैं और जो सताए गए हैं।  पीड़ित को और अधिक परेशानी से बचाएं, ताकि शक्तिशाली उन्हें भूमि से बाहर करने में सक्षम न हो।
