1 My son, do not take responsibility for another man's debt.  Have you promised to repay that person's debt if you waved your hand, promising to be responsible for someone else's debt?

2 If you are stuck in your own words, if you are stuck in your own words.

3 So, my son, because you are stuck in someone else's hands, do this to save yourself: go humble yourself and plead with that man.

5 Deliver thyself as a roe from a hunter, as a bird from a snare.

8 Nevertheless, it gathers its food in the summer, and gathers its food in the harvest.

9 Lazy people, how long will you stay here?  When will you wake up from your sleep?

10 A little sleep, a little nap, a little rest for your hands,

11 And before you know it, you will become poor, as if a robber had stolen everything you had.

12 An ungodly man, a wicked man, whose talk is vain.

13 Who will make secret gestures by blinking his eyes, slipping his feet and pointing with his fingers.

14 One who is always plotting evil in his heart and one who is always arguing.

15 But then there will be a sudden calamity.  In the twinkling of an eye he will perish without any way of return.

16 The Lord hates these six things, and these seven things are detestable to him.

17 Arrogant eyes, abominable tongues, hands that kill the innocent.

18 The heart that deviseth wicked things, the feet that run to do evil.

19 A false witness that always tells lies, and a man who argues between two brothers.
