The stupidity and wickedness of man
1 Immoral people say in their hearts, "There is no God anywhere." Foolish people do bad things. None of them do good.
Psalm 14: 1
2 Jehovah looked up from heaven to see if there were any wise men. Wise people, turn to God for help.
Psalm 14: 2
3 But everyone has turned away from God, and all have become evil spirits. No one does good deeds.
Psalm 14: 3
4 My people are destroyed by the wicked, and they do not know God. The wicked have plenty to eat and do not worship Jehovah.

5 They do not want to hear good from the poor. Why? Because that poor man depends on God. But God is always with the righteous. That is why bad people are so afraid.
Psalm 14: 5
6 You call evil the way of the meek, but Jehovah is his refuge.
Psalm 14: 6
7 Who is on Mount Zion to protect Israel? Only Jehovah can save Israel. Jehovah's people have been taken captive. But God will bring his people back. Then Jacob (Israel) will be very happy.

मनुष्य की मूर्खता और दुष्टता
1 अनैतिक लोग अपने मन में कहते हैं, "कहीं भी परमेश्वर नहीं है।" मूर्ख लोग बुरे काम करते हैं। उनमें से कोई भी अच्छा नहीं करता है।
भजन 14:1
2 यहोवा ने स्वर्ग से ऊपर दृष्टि करके देखा कि क्या कोई ज्ञानी हैं। बुद्धिमान पुरुषों, मदद के लिए भगवान की ओर मुड़ें।
भजन संहिता 14: 2
3 परन्तु सब लोग परमेश्वर से फिर गए हैं, और सब दुष्टात्मा हो गए हैं। अच्छे कर्म कोई नहीं करता।
भजन संहिता 14:3
4 दुष्टों के द्वारा मेरी प्रजा का नाश किया जाता है, और वे परमेश्वर को नहीं जानते। दुष्टों के पास खाने को बहुत है, और वे यहोवा की उपासना नहीं करते।
भजन संहिता 14:4
5 वे कंगालों की भलाई नहीं सुनना चाहते। क्यों? क्योंकि वह गरीब आदमी भगवान पर निर्भर है। लेकिन ईश्वर हमेशा नेक लोगों के साथ है। इसलिए बुरे लोग इतने डरते हैं।

6 तू दुष्ट को दुष्ट का मार्ग कहता है, परन्तु यहोवा उसका शरणस्थान है।
भजन संहिता 14:6
7 इस्राएल की रक्षा के लिए सिय्योन पर्वत पर कौन है? केवल यहोवा ही इस्राएल को बचा सकता है। यहोवा के लोगों को बंदी बना लिया गया है। परन्तु परमेश्वर अपने लोगों को वापस लाएगा। तब याकूब (इस्राएल) बहुत प्रसन्न होगा।
