The woman and the dragon

1 And there appeared a great and strange sign in heaven; There was a woman who was dressed in the sun. The moon was under his feet. He had a crown of twelve stars on his head.

 Revelation 12: 1

2 The woman was pregnant. She was crying because she was about to give birth.

 Revelation 12: 2

3 Then another sign appeared in heaven; There was a big red dragon. The big dragon had seven heads with crowns on them. The dragon also had ten horns.

 Revelation 12: 3

4 And the tail of the dragon cast out one-third of the stars, and cast them down to the earth. The dragon went and stood before the woman who was about to give birth. As soon as the baby was born, the dragon wanted to swallow the baby.

 Revelation 12: 4

5 The woman gave birth to a son who could rule over all the nations with an iron rod. And her child was taken to God and to his throne.

 Revelation 12: 5

6 The woman ran to the place that God had prepared for her in the desert. He will be cared for in the desert for one thousand two hundred and sixty days.

 Revelation 12: 6

7 Then war broke out in heaven. Michael and his angels fought against the dragon. The dragon and his angels retaliated.

 Revelation 12: 7

8 But the dragon was not strong enough. The great dragon and his angels lost their place in heaven.

 Revelation 12: 8

9 The dragon was thrown out of heaven. That big dragon was the same old snake that is called a giant or devil. He is leading the whole world astray. The dragon and his angels were thrown down to the earth.

 Revelation 12: 9

10 But I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying, “The victory, the power, the kingdom, and the authority of his Christ has come. These things have happened because the one who accused our brothers has been thrown out. He was the one who was blaming our brothers.

11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their mouth, He did not love his life very much. They were not afraid of death.

 Revelation 12:11

12 Wherefore go ye to the heavens, and rejoice, ye inhabitants of the heavens; But it will be terrible for the land and the sea because the devil has come down to you. Satan is full of wrath. He knows he doesn't have much time. ”

 Revelation 12:12

13 When the dragon saw that he had been cast down to the earth, he pursued after the woman who gave birth to the male child.

 Revelation 12:13

14 But the woman was given two wings of a great eagle so that she could fly and go into the wilderness that was prepared for her. He will be cared for at that place for three and a half years. There she will be away from the dragon.

15 And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood.

 Revelation 12:15

16 The earth helped the woman. The earth opened its mouth and swallowed the river that came out of the dragon's mouth.

17 Then the dragon became very angry with the woman. He went to fight against the woman's other children. His children are those who obey God's commands and abide by the truth that Jesus taught. 18 Then the dragon stood on the shore.

1 और स्वर्ग में एक बड़ा और विचित्र चिन्ह दिखाई दिया; एक महिला थी जो धूप में कपड़े पहने थी। उनके चरणों के नीचे चाँद था। उसके सिर पर बारह तारों का मुकुट था।

2 महिला गर्भवती थी। वह रो रही थी क्योंकि वह जन्म देने वाली थी।

3 तब स्वर्ग में एक और चिन्ह दिखाई दिया; एक बड़ा लाल अजगर था। बड़े अजगर के सात सिर थे जिन पर मुकुट थे। अजगर के भी दस सींग थे।

4 और अजगर की पूंछ ने एक तिहाई तारों को निकाल कर पृथ्वी पर डाल दिया। अजगर जाकर उस स्त्री के सामने खड़ा हो गया जो जन्म देने वाली थी। बच्चे के पैदा होते ही अजगर बच्चे को निगलना चाहता था।

5 उस स्त्री ने एक पुत्र को जन्म दिया, जो लोहे की छड़ से सब जातियों पर राज्य कर सकता था। और उसके बच्चे को परमेश्वर और उसके सिंहासन पर ले जाया गया।

6 वह स्त्री भागकर उस स्थान को गई जिसे परमेश्वर ने जंगल में उसके लिथे तैयार किया था। वह मरुभूमि में एक हजार दो सौ साठ दिन तक रखा जाएगा।

7 तब स्वर्ग में युद्ध छिड़ गया। माइकल और उसके स्वर्गदूतों ने अजगर के खिलाफ लड़ाई लड़ी। अजगर और उसके स्वर्गदूतों ने जवाबी कार्रवाई की।

8 परन्तु अजगर काफ़ी शक्तिशाली नहीं था। महान अजगर और उसके स्वर्गदूतों ने स्वर्ग में अपना स्थान खो दिया।

9 अजगर को स्वर्ग से बाहर फेंक दिया गया। वह बड़ा अजगर वही पुराना सांप था जिसे विशाल या शैतान कहा जाता है। वह पूरी दुनिया को गुमराह कर रहा है। अजगर और उसके दूतों को पृथ्वी पर गिरा दिया गया।

10 परन्‍तु मैं ने स्‍वर्ग में यह कहते हुए ऊँचे स्वर में सुना, “उसके मसीह की जय, पराक्रम, राज्‍य और अधिकार आ गया है। ये बातें इसलिए हुई हैं क्योंकि जिसने हमारे भाइयों पर आरोप लगाया था, उसे बाहर निकाल दिया गया है। वह वही था जो हमारे भाइयों को दोष दे रहा था।

11 और वे मेम्ने के लोहू, और उस की प्रजा को दी गई गवाही के वचन के द्वारा उस पर जय पाए। उसे अपने जीवन से बहुत प्यार नहीं था। वे मौत से नहीं डरते थे।

12 इस कारण हे स्वर्ग के निवासियों, तुम स्वर्ग पर जाकर आनन्द करो; परन्तु यह भूमि और समुद्र के लिये भयानक होगा, क्योंकि शैतान तुम्हारे पास उतर आया है। शैतान क्रोध से भरा है। वह जानता है कि उसके पास ज्यादा समय नहीं है।"

13 जब अजगर ने देखा कि वह भूमि पर गिरा दिया गया है, तो उस स्त्री का पीछा करने लगा, जिसने लड़के को जन्म दिया था।

14 परन्तु उस स्त्री को एक बड़े उकाब के दो पंख दिए गए, कि वह उड़कर उस जंगल में जा सके जो उसके लिथे तैयार किया गया था। उस स्थान पर साढ़े तीन साल तक उसकी देखभाल की जाएगी। वहाँ वह अजगर से दूर होगी।

15 और सर्प ने उसके मुंह से जल का जल उस स्त्री के पीछे से बहा दिया, जिस से वह उसे जलप्रलय से बहा ले जाए।

16 पृथ्वी ने स्त्री की सहायता की। पृथ्वी ने अपना मुंह खोला और अजगर के मुंह से निकली नदी को निगल लिया।

17 तब अजगर उस स्त्री पर बहुत क्रोधित हुआ। वह महिला के अन्य बच्चों से लड़ने गया। उसके बच्चे वे हैं जो परमेश्वर की आज्ञाओं का पालन करते हैं और उस सच्चाई का पालन करते हैं जिसे यीशु ने सिखाया था।18 तब अजगर किनारे पर खड़ा हो गया।
