Christ directs life
1 The love of the community remains.
2 Do not forget to be hospitable, for by doing this many have sent angels into their homes without their knowledge.
3 Remember the bondmen as if you were bonds with them, and those who are forced to suffer, knowing that you yourselves are of the flesh.
4 Let marriage be honorable among all, and let marriage be spotless: for God will judge between fornicators and adulterers.
5 Stay away from the greed of Maya in your life. Be patient with what you have, for he himself has said, 'I will by no means leave you nor by any means forsake you.'
6 Therefore we boldly say, The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?

14 For we have not here an abiding city, but the city to come.
15 Let us therefore offer unto him the sacrifice of praise, the fruit of lips, unto them that believe on his name for ever.
16 But do not forget to do good and to do good, for such sacrifices are pleasing to God.
17 Obey your leaders and be in subjection to them, for they are as watchful for your souls as are accountable for them, that they may do it with joy, not with compulsion, for it is not profitable for you.
18 Pray for us, for we believe that we have a good conscience and want to live a good life in all things.
19 And I beseech you the more to do this, that I may be restored to you the sooner.
20 Now the God of peace, who raised the great Shepherd of the sheep, our Lord Jesus, from the dead with the blood of the everlasting covenant,
21 Let him complete every good work, that you may do his will, and do that which pleases you, through Jesus Christ, to whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen.
22 Now I beseech you, brethren, to bear the word of this doctrine: for in a little while I have written unto you.
23 You know that our brother Timothy was released from prison. If he comes soon, I will come with him and see you.
24 Greet all your leaders and all the saints. Those from Italy ask for your greetings.
