1 And God remembered Noah, and every beast of the field, and every beast of the field, and every man that was with him in the ark; And God caused the wind to blow on the earth, and the water began to recede.
2 The fountains of the deep and the windows of heaven were shut, and the rain ceased.
3 After a hundred and fifty days the water began to recede from the earth
4 On the seventeenth day of the seventh month the ark came to rest on Mount Ararat.
5 And the waters abated ten months. On the first day of the tenth month the tops of the mountains appeared.
6 And it came to pass at the end of forty days, that Noah opened the window of the ark;
7 He left a mountain raven, and he kept coming and going until the water dried up.
8 And he let go of the dove, that he might see whether the waters were abated from off the earth;
9 But the dove could not find a place for her feet, so she returned to him in the boat, for the waters were over the whole earth.
10 And after seven days he let go of the dove again.
11 And the dove came unto him in the evening, and, behold, there was an olive tree in his beak: and Noah knew that the waters were abated from off the earth.
12 And after seven days she let go of the dove, and she came not again.
13 On the first day of the first month of the six hundred and first year of Noah's life, the water dried up on the earth, and Noah opened the roof of the ark and looked, and behold, the surface of the earth had dried up.
14 On the seventieth day of the second month the earth was completely dry.
15 Then God spoke to Noah
16 Get out of the boat, your wife, your son, and your daughters.
17 Take with you every animal that you have, that is, of every living thing, the bird, the beast, and the creeping thing that creeps on the earth, that they may multiply, and bear fruit, on the earth.
18 Then Noah, his sons, his wife, and his daughters-in-law went out with him.
19 And every beast, and every creeping thing, and every fowl, and every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth, after their kind, went out of the ark.
Burnt offering
20 And Noah built an altar unto the LORD, and took of the clean beasts, and of the clean fowls, and offered burnt offerings upon the altar.
21 And the LORD took the sweet incense, and said in his heart, I will never again curse the earth for man, for the spirit of man is evil from the beginning, and I will no more destroy all flesh as I have done.
22 As long as there is earth, there will be no more sowing and reaping, no more cold and sun, no more raining and kharif, no more day and night.

1 और परमेश्वर ने नूह, और मैदान के हर जानवर, और मैदान के हर जानवर, और हर उस आदमी को याद किया जो सन्दूक में उसके साथ था; और परमेश्वर ने हवा को पृथ्वी पर उड़ा दिया, और पानी रिसना शुरू हो गया।
2 स्वर्ग के गहरे और खिड़की के फव्वारे बंद हो गए, और बारिश बंद हो गई।

4 सातवें महीने के सत्रहवें दिन को अरारत पर्वत पर विश्राम करने आया।
5 और पानी दस महीने तक खत्म हो गया। दसवें महीने के पहले दिन पहाड़ों की चोटी दिखाई दी।
6 और चालीस दिन के बीतने पर, नूह ने सन्दूक की खिड़की खोली;
7 उसने एक पहाड़ को बहा दिया, और वह तब तक आता रहा, जब तक कि पानी सूख नहीं गया।
8 और उसने कबूतर को जाने दिया, कि वह देखे कि क्या पृथ्वी से पानी समाप्त हो गया है;
9 लेकिन कबूतर को उसके पैरों के लिए जगह नहीं मिली, इसलिए वह नाव पर उसके पास लौट आया, क्योंकि पानी जमीन के ऊपर था।
10 और सात दिनों के बाद उसने फिर से कबूतर को जाने दिया।
11 और शाम को कबूतर उसके पास आया, और निहारना, उसकी चोंच में एक जैतून का पेड़ था: और नूह को पता था कि पृथ्वी से पानी समाप्त हो गया है।
12 और सात दिनों के बाद उसने कबूतर को जाने दिया, और वह फिर नहीं आया।
13 छह महीने के पहले महीने के पहले दिन और नूह के जीवन के पहले वर्ष में, पृथ्वी पर पानी सूख गया।
14 दूसरे महीने के सातवें दिन पृथ्वी पूरी तरह से सूखी थी।
15 तब परमेश्वर ने नूह से बात की
16 नाव, अपनी पत्नी, अपने बेटे और अपनी बेटियों से बाहर निकलो।
17 अपने साथ हर उस जानवर को ले जाइए, जो आपके पास है, जो कि हर जीवित चीज़, पक्षी, जानवर और रेंगने वाली चीज़ है, जो पृथ्वी पर रेंगती है, कि वे धरती पर कई गुना फल पा सकते हैं।
18 तब नूह, उसके बेटे, उसकी पत्नी और उसकी बहुएँ उसके साथ बाहर गए।
19 और हर जानवर, और हर रेंगने वाली चीज़, और हर मवेशी, और धरती पर रेंगनेवाली हर रेंगनेवाली चीज़, अपनी तरह के बाद, जहाज़ से बाहर चली गई।
अग्नि को दी गई आहुति
20 और नूह ने यहोवा के पास एक वेदी बनाई, और साफ-सुथरे जानवरों, और साफ-सुथरे फाहों को लेकर वेदी पर होमबलि चढ़ाया।
21 और यहोवा ने मधुर धूप ले ली, और उसके मन में कहा, मैं फिर से मनुष्य के लिए पृथ्वी को शाप नहीं दूंगा, क्योंकि मनुष्य की आत्मा शुरू से ही दुष्ट है, और मैं सभी मांस को नष्ट नहीं करूंगा जैसा मैंने किया है।
22 जब तक धरती है, तब तक अधिक बुवाई और कटाई नहीं होगी, न अधिक ठंड और धूप होगी, न अधिक बारिश और खरीफ होगी, न अधिक दिन और रात होगी।
