Describe the separation of Abram and Lot
1 Then Abram took his wife and all that he had, and Lot with him, and went from Egypt to the south of Canaan.
2 Abram was rich in cattle and gold and silver.
3 And he journeyed from the south, and came to Bethel, and pitched his tent between Bethel and Ai.
4 This is the place of the altar that he built before, and there Abram called to the Lord.
5 And Lot also, which went with Abram, had flocks, and herds, and families.
6 So there was no place for them to live together in that land because they had so much money that they could not live together.
7 There was a quarrel between Abram and Lot's shepherds. At that time Canaanites and Pharisees lived in that land.
8 And Abram said unto Lot, Let there be no strife, I pray thee, between me and thy shepherds; for we are brethren. Is not the whole country before you?
9 So separate from me. If you go to the left, I will go to the right, and if you go to the right, I will go to the left.
10 And Lot lifted up his eyes, and saw, and, behold, all the plains of the Jordan were watered. Before the Lord destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah, he was like the Lord's garden, but like the land of Egypt going to Zoar.
11 So Lot chose for himself the whole plain of the Jordan and went east, and they separated from each other.
12 Abram dwelt in the land of Canaan, but Lot dwelt in the cities of the plain, and pitched his tent by Sodom.
13 The people of Sodom were very wicked and very sinful before the Lord.
Abram goes to Hebron
14 And it came to pass, when Abram was gone from Lot, that the LORD said unto Abram, Lift up thine eyes, and look from the place where thou art now, north, south, and east, and west;
15 For all the land which thou seest, I will give it unto thee and to thy seed for ever.
16 And I will multiply thy seed as the dust of the earth, that if a man may number the dust of the earth, he shall number thy seed also.
17 Arise, and walk in the breadth of this land: for I will give it unto thee.
18 And Abram pitched his tent, and dwelt by the oaks of Mamre, which are in Hebron; and there he built an altar unto the LORD.
Psalms
The first part
1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the understanding of the wicked, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the congregation of mockers.
2 But he delighted in the law of the LORD; And day and night he meditates on his law.
3 He will be like a tree planted in flowing waters, which bears fruit in season, whose leaves do not wither, and whatever he does succeeds.
4 The wicked are not like that, but they are like chaff that the wind blows away.
5 Therefore the wicked shall not stand in judgment, neither in the congregation of the righteous sinners.
6 For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the wicked shall perish.

अब्राम हेब्रोन जाता है
14 और अब्राम जब लोट से चला गया, तब यहोवा ने अब्राम से कहा, “तू आंखें खोलकर उस स्थान को देख, जहां तू अब उत्तर, दक्षिण और पूर्व और पश्चिम में है;
15 जिस देश को तू सीता है, मैं उसे तुझ को और तेरे बीज को हमेशा के लिए दूंगा।
16 और मैं तेरा बीज पृथ्वी की धूल के रूप में गुणा करूंगा, कि यदि कोई मनुष्य पृथ्वी की धूल को गिन सकता है, तो वह अपने बीज को भी गिनेगा।
17 उठो, और इस देश की चौड़ाई में चलो;
18 और अब्राम ने अपना तम्बू खड़ा किया, और ममरे की कंदराओं से पिघला, जो हेब्रोन में हैं; और वहाँ उसने यहोवा की एक वेदी बनाई।
स्तोत्र
पहला भाग
