The gospel of deliverance
1 The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me: for the LORD hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor, and he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, and to deliver the captives, and the captives. Preach deliverance from darkness,
2 That I may shew the joyful year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God, and comfort all the mourners.

5 Strangers will come and feed your flocks, and strangers will be your shepherds.
6 But ye shall be called the priests of the LORD; and ye shall be called the servants of our God: ye shall eat the riches of the heathen, and be proud of their riches.
7 For thy shame thou shalt receive a double portion, and for blasphemy thou shalt rejoice in thy portion: therefore shalt thou inherit a double portion in thy land, and everlasting joy shall be thine.
8 For I, Yahweh, love justice, and hate plunder and wickedness: therefore will I recompense my people with truth, and I will establish an everlasting covenant with them.
9 And their seed shall be known among the nations, and their seed among the people: and all that see it shall know that it is the blessed seed of the LORD.
10 I will rejoice in the LORD, my soul shall rejoice in my God, for he hath clothed me with salvation, and he has clothed me with the robe of righteousness, She adorns herself with jewels.
11 As the earth brings forth her bud, and the garden brings forth seed, so the Lord GOD will bring forth righteousness and praise before all the nations.
God's Concern for Zion
1 For Zion's sake I will not hold my peace, and for Jerusalem's sake I will not rest, until his righteousness be as a light, and his salvation as a burning lamp.
2 The nations shall see thy righteousness, and all the kingdoms thy glory: thou shalt be called by a new name, which shall proceed out of the mouth of the LORD.
3 Thou shalt be a crown of beauty in the hand of the LORD, and a royal crown in the hand of thy God.
4 Thou shalt no more be called “forsaken,” nor shall thy land be called “the wilderness,” but thou shalt be called Hepseba, that is, “my sister is in her,” and thy land shall be called Beulah, that is, the bride; Is happy, and your land will be married.
5 As a young man marries a virgin, so your sons will marry you, and as the bridegroom rejoices over his bride, so your God will rejoice over you.
6 I have set watchmen over thy walls, O Jerusalem, and they shall not keep silent all day and all night: ye that call upon the LORD, do not rest.
7 And do not let them rest until they have established Jerusalem to praise the earth!
8 The LORD hath sworn by his right hand, and by his mighty arm, that I will no more give thy food to thy enemies for food, neither shall strangers drink thy new wine, for which thou hast labored.
9 But his shepherds will eat it, and praise the LORD. His collectors will drink it in the courtyards of my sanctuary.
10 Pass through, pass through the gates! Make way for the people, get recruited, get recruited on the royal road! Throw out the stones, raise the flag for the people of the country!
11 Behold, the LORD hath proclaimed unto the ends of the earth, Say unto the daughter of Zion, Behold, thy Savior cometh; behold, his reward is with him, and his recompense is before him.
